Protests against Öcalan at national match in Bursa following Kocaeli
As Turkey defeated Bulgaria 2-0 in the World Cup Qualifiers, protests were held in the stands against terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.

In the World Cup qualifying match played in Bursa, Turkey defeated Bulgaria 2-0 to advance to the play-off round. The first goal of the match came in the 18th minute with a penalty kick by Hakan Çalhanoğlu. The second goal was recorded in the 83rd minute as an own goal by Bulgarian player Atanas Chernev.
During the match, protests against terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan in the stands drew attention. Opposing the demands for Öcalan to speak in Parliament, fans chanted slogans such as, "Does a terrorist speak in Parliament?"
This protest occurred in a similar fashion during the previous qualifying match where Turkey defeated Georgia 4-1. In that match, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili were also present in the stands.
