Under the instruction of the Uşak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a joint raid was conducted on four businesses (a hotel, a restaurant, a disco, and a bar) owned by Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım. During the operation carried out in the Uşak city center, police and gendarmerie teams acted in coordination.

DIGITAL DATA SEIZED IN THE RAID

During the raid, computers, mobile phones, hard drives, and camera recording devices at the mayor's businesses were seized. According to the statement made by the Ministry of Justice, the seized digital data will be examined in detail and the investigation process will be deepened.

BRIBERY AND TENDER RIGGING ACCUSATIONS

The raid was carried out within the scope of an investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was learned that this operation was directed at crimes of bribery, extortion, and tender rigging.

In another operation carried out previously, 13 suspects were detained in Uşak, Kocaeli, and Ankara. Among those detained were Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım and Deputy Mayor Halil Arslan.
