Record increase in CHP membership following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu

Pointing to the protests that began following the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and emphasizing that the struggle for democracy will continue, Böke said, "We are determined. We see this determination in the eyes of all our citizens."

On the other hand, Böke stated that there has been a record increase in the number of CHP members following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu, and noted the following:
"Approximately 20 thousand more people said 'I am here too' and became members every day. The number of our citizens who applied to become members of our party in just the last 2 days has reached 40 thousand."
