The repercussions of the protests across Turkey, which began following the arrest of the Republican People's Party (CHP) presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, continue.

As the opposition's calls for an 'early election' gain momentum, striking results have begun to emerge from polling companies.

63.5 PERCENT SAY 'YES'!

In the poll conducted by Ser Araştırma (SER-AR) between March 24-27 using the CATI method with 2,000 voters in 26 cities, participants were asked the question: “Do you think there should be an early general election in 2025?”

63.5 percent of the poll participants answered “Yes” to this question. 

While the rate of voters who stated they did not want an early election was 33.2 percent, the rate of those who answered “No Opinion” was 3.3 percent.
