Resigned from İYİ Party: Joined CHP

Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin, who resigned from the İYİ Party in July, joined the CHP at a ceremony held. Martin said, "I am experiencing the happiness of returning to my father's hearth."

Edirne's Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin, who resigned from the İYİ Party in July, has joined the CHP

CHP Edirne deputies Ediz Ün and Baran Yazgan, Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan Akın, CHP Party Assembly Member Berker Esen, CHP Provincial Chair Harika Taybıllı, and numerous citizens were present at the ceremony held at the district headquarters.

Speaking at the ceremony, CHP PA Member Berker Esen stated that this participation is an important step on the path that will carry the party to power, saying, "Today, the efforts under the leadership of our Chairman Özgür Özel are paving the way to power. We welcome Mayor Ediz and wish for this participation to be auspicious in our journey toward power."

CHP IS GROWING EVEN STRONGER 

CHP Edirne Provincial Chair Harika Taybıllı also expressed that every new member who joins their party strengthens their struggle, saying, "This is not just a badge-pinning ceremony; it is also a sign of social transformation. The CHP will grow and strengthen even further in the light of Atatürk's revolutions."

Uzunköprü Mayor Ediz Martin, who donned the CHP badge, recalled that he served in the CHP Youth Branches during his youth and expressed that returning to his father's hearth is a great happiness for him.

Martin stated, "Due to the difficulties experienced in Turkey's political conjuncture, the living conditions of our entire society have become much heavier. In this process, I joined the CHP to be a companion on the path of Özgür Özel. Long live the CHP, long live the revolutions of Mustafa Kemal."
