Response from CHP's Tezcan to Özlem Çerçioğlu, who filed a criminal complaint: Those who take refuge in palaces

CHP Deputy Bülent Tezcan responded to Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, who filed a criminal complaint against CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, saying, "Our Chairman will not be intimidated by your threats or your investigations.

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, who switched from the CHP to the AKP, announced that she has filed a criminal complaint against CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

CHP Chairman Özel had previously stated regarding Çerçioğlu, "She is being held in high regard because she switched to the AK Party. Mr. Tayyip praises her, saying, 'She is implementing the best example of social municipalism.' Until yesterday, he was having her slandered and having her thrown in jail."

Tezcan used the following expressions in his post:

"Instead of fighting like our mayors who stand tall against conspiracies and pay the price with their honor; the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, who chose to put 344 thousand votes on the bargaining table and flee to take refuge in the Palace, has filed a criminal complaint against our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel.

Our Chairman will not be intimidated by your threats or your investigations.
