Former Tunceli Mayor Fatih Mehmet Maçoğlu lost the election in Kadıköy on March 31 with a vote share (10.02 percent) that fell below expectations. Maçoğlu, whose candidacy process from Kadıköy was controversial, made a notable post on his social media account.
Having returned to his hometown, Maçoğlu has started beekeeping.
In his post wearing beekeeping gear, where he was seen sharing details about honey production, Maçoğlu stated, "With the arrival of spring, our collective production efforts have gained momentum. Following bee maintenance and the hive division process, we will send our bees to high-altitude plateaus for honey production. We will not only support production methods that protect nature and defend ecology, but we will also be a part of them."
