The final speech at the event was delivered by Erçin Fırat, who was elected to the position ofChairman by the Founding Board of the Revolution Party.

Fırat explained the reason for the party'sestablishment as announcedwith thesewords:

“Revolutionis not seen in election polls, is not broadcast on television, it is seen in theanger of the people, and we see it. And we are turning this anger into a real, determined,disciplined, organized and that no one can sellor buy, we must bring them together with a party.”

“There are those who will spoil this plan”

Fırat said, “They have a plan to set up a commission table and say, ‘We will round everyone up and convince them that we will bring peace to Turkey.’However, there are those who will spoil this plan. There is a force in Turkey that will stand up against imperialism.At the very moment they say, ‘We have taken over the left, we have finished it,’they are the will that will establish the party of the revolution in the daysis not in their calculations,” he stated.

“We will not negotiate with the counter-revolution”

Addressing those following the party, Fırat continued hiswords asfollows:

“From us, labor, struggle, organization, dedicationWait for the results, we will do all of these; criticize us where we fail, but do not expect us to bargain with anyone. We will not bargain with a counter-revolution or its elements. The establishment of the Revolution Party will be the beginning of a bright, independent future.
