Saadet Party High Advisory Board announces the chairmanship candidate it supports
Ahead of the Saadet Party's 9th Ordinary Grand Congress to be held on November 24, the High Advisory Board has announced whom they support as the party's new chairman. Kayseri Deputy Mahmut Arıkan has been announced as the name the Saadet Party High Advisory Board will support.

The Saadet Party will hold its 9th Ordinary Grand Congress on November 24. Following current Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu's announcement that he will not be a candidate, there is great curiosity about who the new chairman will be. Days before the congress, a statement came from the Saadet Party High Advisory Board. The High Advisory Board (YİK) announced that the chairmanship candidate they support is Kayseri Deputy Mahmut Arıkan.
The statement made by the Saadet Party High Advisory Board (YİK) included the following expressions:
"As you are aware, in line with the request of our Saadet Party Chairman, the esteemed Temel Karamollaoğlu, and as a result of the meetings held with our organizations, it has been decided that our 9th Ordinary Congress will be held in Ankara on November 24, 2024. With the approval of our Chairman, we are in consensus that the duty of the Chairmanship should be carried out by Mr. Mahmut Arıkan.
In this challenging process that our world and our country are going through; we hereby announce to our Organization Members and Grand Congress Delegates with our respects that our High Advisory Board is in consensus that the duty of the Chairmanship should be carried out by Kayseri Deputy and Deputy Chairman Mr. Mahmut Arıkan, just as it has been until now, in line with the preferences of the vast majority of our organization members and the extensive consultations held, and with the approval of our esteemed Chairman, for the sake of realizing the moves to build a 'livable Turkey, a great Turkey again, and a new world' in unity and integrity."
The Saadet Party 9th Ordinary Grand Congress will take place on Sunday, November 24, at the Ankara Atatürk Sports Hall.
