As discussions regarding the fund scandal continue, a notable statement came from AKP member Şamil Tayyar. Tayyar reacted to claims that the US and Israel are behind the crisis and that it is a coup plot against the government.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akgündüz, the father of Yusuf Emre Akgündüz, who was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, claimed in a social media post that, "according to the information I have been able to reach," the MOSSAD and the US are behind the fund crisis. Akgündüz argued that the President and state administrators should be careful.
Tayyar, however, opposed these claims in a post on his social media account. In his post, he stated, "Apparently the US is behind the fund crisis, apparently Israel is. Apparently it's a coup plot against the government. Apparently the lady had no knowledge of the 2.17 billion lira transaction. And so on. Forget these, don't mock the public's intelligence."

Apparently it's a coup plot against the government.
Apparently the lady had no knowledge of the 2.17 billion lira transaction.
And so on.
Forget these, don't mock the public's intelligence.
Some have poisoned the AK Party and the state for their own financial power.…
In the same post, Tayyar argued that some individuals have poisoned the AKP and the state for their "financial power," and stated that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is "trying to cleanse and treat the party and the state of this lethal poison."
Tayyar concluded his statement with the words, "Anything else is a cover-up. This is the short summary of the matter."
