Şamil Tayyar warns about Syria: 'Uncertainty is growing, the process is working against Turkey'

In the talks in Syria, the YPG, the Syrian branch of the terrorist organization PKK, presented additional demands to the Syrian government regarding the March 10 Memorandum. It was reported that the YPG demanded to maintain its presence in the Syrian army as 3 divisions, to continue its control duties at the borders, and to secure its shares of oil and natural gas.
However, the Syrian government announced that it rejected these demands and that there is currently no agreement.
SYRIA'S RESPONSE: NO AGREEMENT
The Syrian government stated that the demands presented by the YPG have not yet been accepted, and therefore no agreement has been reached. Conversely, the YPG presented its demands as if they had been accepted and claimed that the process would continue.
CRITICAL STATEMENT FROM ŞAMİL TAYYAR
AKP member Şamil Tayyar criticized this situation in a post on his X account. Noting that the YPG has managed to gain additional time despite constantly dragging its feet, Tayyar stated, "Every passing minute increases the uncertainty in Syria and the process is working against Turkey."
