Future Party Muğla Deputy and New Path Group Deputy Chairman Selçuk Özdağ made a statement regarding the path the deputies will follow after the decision to dissolve the party. Özdağ rejected claims that the four remaining deputies from the Future Party would join other parties.

Announcing in a post on his social media account that the decision to dissolve the Future Party was made following consultations, Özdağ stated that the closure of the party does not mean the end of the political struggle.

Özdağ used the following expressions:

"As a result of the consultations we have held, we have decided to dissolve the Future Party. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all our organization members, our fellow travelers, and everyone who has supported us, who have worked for this cause, shown sincere effort, and put in the hard work since its establishment."

Özdağ stated that the work carried out to date was done for a more democratic, free, and prosperous future for Turkey, emphasizing that the value of the effort put into this process remains intact.

“WE WILL KEEP OUR GROUP ALIVE”

Speaking to Sözcü TV, Özdağ said that the four remaining deputies from the Future Party will continue to engage in politics in Parliament under the umbrella of the New Path Group. Özdağ said, "We will keep our group alive. We are four deputies. Everyone believes in the mission of this group. We are resisting together with this group. Together with this group, we speak out more against the laws brought by the Justice and Development Party."

Özdağ also denied the claims of joining the IYI Party or a New Party that came to the agenda following the dissolution decision. Stating that the four deputies will remain within the New Path Group as independents, Özdağ noted that they want the group to continue its opposition activities in Parliament.

The four deputies of the Future Party in the New Path Group consist of Denizli Deputy Sema Silkin Ün, Muğla Deputy Selçuk Özdağ, Bursa Deputy Kani Torun, and İzmir Deputy Mustafa Bilici. According to Özdağ's statement, these individuals will continue their joint political work within the same group even after the party's legal personality ends.
