Participating in the program 'Sözün Gücü' (The Power of the Word) with Ece Üner on SÖZCÜ TV, Sera Kadıgil evaluated the words of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan: "For me, this is a final; with the authority given by the law, this election is my last election."

Kadıgil said of Erdoğan, "He is engaging in political begging."

Kadıgil stated the following:

"I think it will be like Teoman quitting music. He is aware that he will lose in Istanbul, and for this reason, he is engaging in political begging.

As he is on his way out, he sees that Istanbul is slipping away, so he is asking for votes by playing on the emotions of his voters. At the same time, he is secretly trying to change the constitution to be elected forever...

I read this statement by the AKP Chairman with a smile.

To say that he wants a constitution according to his own whims through a constitutional amendment, and that he is doing this only to be able to get elected, would be a bit of an understatement."
