Shares leaked 'Lausanne' note from terrorist leader Öcalan: 'What kind of insolence is this!'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ arrived in Eskişehir to attend his party's provincial congress.

Meeting with members of the press at a breakfast program, Özdağ criticized the second 'opening' process initiated by the AKP and MHP alliance. Criticizing the government's economic policies in harsh terms, Özdağ drew attention to the difficulties experienced in the textile sector.

Stating that 364 thousand textile workers lost their jobs last year, Özdağ said, '4.5 to 5 billion dollars of capital in the textile industry has left Turkey for Egypt alone. We are not even talking about those that went to Balkan countries.

But it is not just textiles; sectors like furniture and footwear also feel forced to move themselves to countries like Egypt. This situation is not sustainable. Industrialists are now facing the threat of extinction,' he said.

'THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT PROVIDE A PERSPECTIVE FOR TURKEY'

Arguing that the government does not provide any perspective for Turkey, Özdağ said, 'The year 2025 passed with very heavy difficulties for our country. On one hand, the weight of an economic crisis that has been reducing the share of national income received by our low-income and fixed-income citizens for 8 years, stopping industrial production, and liquidating production in agriculture has descended upon Turkey like a nightmare, while on the other hand, the government, which does not provide any perspective for Turkey to overcome this heavy economic crisis, has entered a process where it has begun to liquidate the founding principles of the Republic of Turkey within the framework of negotiations held with the PKK terrorist organization and its murderous leader Abdullah Öcalan,' he said.

CRITICISM OF THE 'TERROR-FREE TURKEY' PROCESS

Criticizing the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, Özdağ said, '2025 was indeed very difficult, and unfortunately, the Republic of Turkey is being dragged toward a historical breaking point in 2026. What will happen in the coming year could be the most severe developments in the history of the republic in every sense and the most frightening in terms of consequences. What we have heard so far regarding the negotiations with the PKK terrorist organization shows that a terrorist organization is being brought in as a partner to the republic we founded by waging the War of Independence. While this breaking process of the republic continues, it appears that the economic crisis that has been ongoing for 8 years will worsen further in 2026,' he said.

'TURKEY HAS ENTERED A PROCESS OF HEAVY DEINDUSTRIALIZATION'

'Unfortunately, as a result of wrong economic policies, Turkey has entered a process of heavy deindustrialization,' said Özdağ, adding, 'Turkish industrialists are trying to pay the price for the government's wrong policies by either fleeing this country and taking their capital to other countries or by selling their property and assets to foreign funds. We see that the government first puts pressure on businesspeople and industrialists whose political stance it does not like through the Ministry of Finance's punishment system, and if that is not enough, it can seize their property and assets through enemy criminal law practices, far removed from any constitutional protection,' he said.

Pointing out that 364 thousand textile workers lost their jobs last year, Özdağ said, 'Economic stability in a country depends on a sound justice system and quality education. Unfortunately, there is no fair justice system or quality education in our country today. It is impossible to talk about economic development in a place where there is no justice. 'WHAT KIND OF INSOLENCE IS THIS'

Noting that the notes of PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan from İmralı saying 'Lausanne is over' have been leaked, Özdağ said, 'Concessions continue to be made to the terrorist organization and Öcalan. Öcalan's notes from İmralı have leaked. There are big and important claims in these notes. No one is coming out and saying these are lies. Öcalan is saying, “Lausanne is over.” Is there such a thing? Are you letting Abdullah Öcalan say “Lausanne is over” in İmralı? Who ended Lausanne? What defeat has our army suffered for Lausanne to be over? What kind of insolence is this! We have 15 thousand citizens—soldiers, police, civilians, gendarmes, and intelligence officers—killed by the PKK terrorist organization. Isn't this a great injustice done to them?' he said.

'MAIN OPPOSITION MAYORS ARE IN PRISON'

Expressing that it is wrong for Selahattin Demirtaş to be released while the main opposition party's mayors are in prison, Özdağ said, 'While remote negotiations are being held with Öcalan, Selahattin Demirtaş will also be released in the coming days and will play an active role in politics. What kind of business is this, that while all the mayors of the main opposition party are lying in prison in Silivri and even their Twitter accounts are being taken away from them, Selahattin Demirtaş will walk free and negotiate with the Republic of Turkey state on how the constitution will be written. How do you think you will make the Turkish nation accept such a Turkey?' he said.
