Yeşilyurt Mayor Mehmet Çınar targeted CHP deputy Veli Ağbaba. Ağbaba responded by reminding Çınar of corruption allegations.

Yeşilyurt Mayor Mehmet Çınartargeted CHP Malatya deputy Veli Ağbaba in a post on the X platform.

''I AM WARNING YOU FOR THE FIRST AND LAST TIME''

Çınar stated: ''I invite Mr. Veli Ağbaba, who has a weakness for sympathizing with terrorist organizations in our glorious parliament, to step away from the table where they shake hands to target any AK Party Mayor and their family with disinformation, instead of serving the progress of this country and loving their homeland and nation. I am saying this and warning you for the first and last time. Coming together with terrorist organization sympathizers under the roof of the press does not suit the perfect people of Malatya, where heroes are forged.'' he said.

Ağbaba's response was swift. Ağbaba said, "Your own staff sold dozens of municipal plots with forged documents, and you turned a blind eye. I wish you showed some of that courage toward that issue as well."he said.

''DO NOT INVOLVE THE PEOPLE OF MALATYA IN YOUR DISGRACE''

Ağbaba's response was as follows:

''It is unclear what they are saying, and it is unclear what they are doing. Yeşilyurt Mayor Mehmet Çınar, stop involving terrorism, the flag, and our sacred values in the gray passport scandal and the dirty business you are involved in. Your own staff sold dozens of municipal plots with forged documents, and you turned a blind eye; I wish you showed some of that courage toward that issue as well. You have disgraced a perfect city; do not involve the people of Malatya in your disgrace!''
