Shocking claim from Can Ataklı: Has Devlet Bahçeli been intubated?

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has not appeared in public for 7 weeks following heart valve surgery he underwent at the beginning of February. In statements made by his party regarding Bahçeli's health, it was stated that he had a successful operation and that his health was good.

In the first statement made by the MHP, it was stated that Bahçeli was resting in his room and would return to his daily life in a short time. His aides also made positive statements regarding Bahçeli's health, stating that his condition was good.

However, journalist Sabahattin Önkibar made a different claim about Bahçeli's health in a live broadcast on his YouTube account, saying, "Devlet Bahçeli is 78 years old, has undergone three heart surgeries, broke his hip, and cannot walk. He cannot provide audio, pictures, or video. However, he is not thinking of withdrawing from politics."

NO SINGLE IMAGE FOR 7 WEEKS

The most notable detail among the claims regarding Devlet Bahçeli's health is that Bahçeli has not appeared on camera for 7 weeks. Although Bahçeli has remained in communication through social media posts and phone traffic with politicians, he has not shared any audio, pictures, or video footage.

Another striking claim regarding the health status of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli came from journalist Can Ataklı. In a post on his social media account, Can Ataklı stated that he received information from MHP sources and that Bahçeli had been discharged following his heart surgery.

However, Can Ataklı wrote that Bahçeli fell to the ground while getting out of bed to walk after the surgery and broke his hip bone.

Can Ataklı stated that following this development, Bahçeli was taken to intensive care, but due to the effects of the surgery and other health problems, he entered a vegetative state and was intubated.

RESPONSE FROM MHP WAS SWIFT

A harsh reaction came from the MHP to Ataklı's claim. Hüseyin Özkan, the MHP's social media manager, used the following expressions towards Ataklı: 'You cannot have an MHP source. Because every MHP member would spit in your face when they see you. You vile man!' In another statement, Özkan expressed his reaction by saying, 'Drown in your lies!'
