Sinan Oğan spoke in Mersin at the opening of the Turkey Alliance Party Mersin Provincial Headquarters to an audience of only 48 people.

"THE POLITICAL CONFLICT WOULD HAVE DEEPENED"

Regarding the Table of Six, Oğan said, "Today we saw that the Table of Six was not in a position to govern Turkey. We clearly see that if we had supported the Table of Six candidate and had them elected president, Turkey would be talking about elections again these days. There would have been a crisis in the Turkish economy, and the political conflict in Turkey would have gradually deepened."

HE WILL ALSO BE A CANDIDATE IN 2028

Oğan further stated, "I hope to be the joint candidate of the right in 2028. I have a goal of being a name who will lead Turkey as a leader who unites the Turkish right."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Sinan Oğan, who was the Presidential candidate of the Ata Alliance in the first round of the 2023 Presidential Elections, had said before the election, "We will close the gates of hell" and 'stay loyal to the plan'.

In the runoff election, he announced that he was supporting the People's Alliance candidate, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
