Sırrı Süreyya Önder's brother recounts the first night in the hospital! 'Ulkücüs came to donate blood'
Ali Fuat Önder, the brother of TBMM Deputy Speaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who is currently in intensive care following heart surgery, has shared details about the hospital process. Önder revealed that a group of Ulkücüs (nationalists) came to the hospital to donate blood and that a former security chief for the late BBP leader Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu had visited.

The health condition of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who underwent surgery at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital following a heart condition on the evening of April 15 and remains in intensive care, continues to be serious. Doctors providing updates on Önder's condition stated that contractions have begun in his right heart and that his condition is stable. Speaking to TELE1, Sırrı Süreyya Önder's brother, Ali Fuat Önder, explained that a group of Ulkücüs also came to the hospital to donate blood, joining many figures from the worlds of politics, business, media, and the arts who have visited.
Ali Fuat Önder stated the following:
“I didn't see them, but a group of Ulkücü friends came here and wanted to donate blood. They came to the hospital on the second day. However, the hospital had already taken precautions. We didn't have a need for blood, but I am grateful to them. There were also those who filled buses and vehicles and came all the way from Hakkari.
Someone came to the hospital and said, 'We want to see your brother.' They called me. He was an elderly man. He shook my hand. He said he was originally from Trabzon. He mentioned that he was nearby and that he had served as the security chief for Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu. During the Mamak years, in the September 12 period, my brother and the late Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu stayed in the same prison. They had an incredible amount of love and respect for one another."
"CALL DOCTOR ABİDİN"
Ali Fuat Önder stated that a journalist was with his brother on the day of the incident and that when Sırrı Süreyya Önder realized he was having a heart attack, he asked the journalist to call a doctor named Abidin from his contact list.
Ali Fuat Önder's remarks are as follows:
“He was at home with a journalist friend. My brother felt it. He told the person next to him, ‘I think I am having a heart attack. Call a doctor. There is a doctor named Abidin in my contacts.’ His friend called the doctor, and of course, a team also arrived from the hospital. The doctor communicated with the team. When the ambulance arrived, he was conscious. He lost consciousness in the ambulance. His heart stopped there. They brought him back."
