Soylu's former right-hand man appointed to THK University

Businessman Orhan Ünsal, who joined the AKP and was known as the right-hand man of former Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu during his tenure as Chairman of the Democrat Party, has been appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) University.
According to a report by İsmail Arı from Birgün, Ünsal served as the Ankara Provincial Chairman during the period when Süleyman Soylu was the Chairman of the Democrat Party. In 2009, he left the Democrat Party alongside Soylu and joined the AKP.
On the other hand, it is also known that Kemal Yurtnaç, who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Aeronautical Association and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of THK University, was a parliamentary candidate nominee for the AKP in the past.
