Stating that memories were refreshed on the anniversary of the February 28 process, Çelik drew attention to the struggle for democracy led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during that period, saying, "We express our gratitude to our President, who tore through the darkness of February 28 and led the way for democracy."

Touching upon the claims regarding the PKK laying down its arms and dissolving, which have been on the agenda in recent days, Çelik emphasized that President Erdoğan has made symbolic speeches and taken steps against the tutelage regime. Çelik stated, "Our President fought a great struggle for the removal of the bans on our Kurdish citizens."
