Statement from the Turkish Parliament on the process commission: Final stage reached

The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, which continues its work in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), has reached a significant stage regarding the final text of the prepared joint report.

The commission's fifth meeting was held today at 14:00. The framework text of the report was discussed during the session chaired by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

The commission, which had met four times previously, had conducted detailed discussions regarding the content of the joint report. The report prepared by the commission is expected to be voted on in its final form during negotiations to be held in the coming days.

In the latest statement made by the TBMM, information regarding the process was shared with the following expressions: "...The report will be finalized and voted on at the commission meeting planned to be held in the coming days, and will be submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey..."
