Statement on the content of the Erdoğan-Rutte meeting
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan received NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Following the meeting, a statement from the Directorate of Communications said, "During the reception, the Ukraine-Russia War and what can be done to end the massacre in Palestine, joint steps to be taken in the fight against terrorism, Turkey's hosting of the 2026 NATO Summit, the solidarity of NATO allies with Turkey in the supply of defense industry materials, and Turkey's contributions as a NATO ally were evaluated."

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan received NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The meeting at the Presidential Complex began around 15:10. The meeting concluded around 16:15.

It was stated that during the reception, Erdoğan thanked NATO Secretary General Rutte for the messages of solidarity with Turkey following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan was accompanied at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
