ASAL Research and Consultancy Company has shared the results of the local election poll it conducted in Hatay. Striking results emerged from the survey, in which citizens were asked, "If there were a local election today, would you vote for Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş?"

As the local elections approach, public opinion research companies continue their polling efforts.
Along with Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, Hatay is among the cities most curious about in the local elections.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel decided to continue with the incumbent mayor, Lütfü Savaş, in Hatay, one of the cities most affected by the February 6 earthquakes, stating, "He receives incredible votes in rural areas."
While earthquake survivor citizens protested Lütfü Savaş on the anniversary of February 6, Savaş announced that he would not withdraw his candidacy.
LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ POLL FROM ASAL RESEARCH
ASAL Research and Consultancy Company shared the results of the poll it conducted in Hatay before the local elections. In the research conducted with 1,500 people between February 7-9, citizens were asked about the success status of the incumbent mayor, Lütfü Savaş.
48 PERCENT FOUND LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ UNSUCCESSFUL
While 28.8 percent of Hatay citizens found Savaş successful, 48 percent evaluated him as unsuccessful.
The rate of those saying 'neither successful nor unsuccessful' was 14 percent, while 9.2 percent left this question unanswered.
THE PERCENTAGE OF THOSE SAYING 'I WILL NOT VOTE' FOR LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ IS 45.6 PERCENT
In the poll, citizens were also asked the question, "If there were a local election today, would you vote for Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş?"
The participants' responses were as follows;
I would vote: 30.2 percent
I would not vote: 45.6 percent
Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't: 10.4 percent
No answer: 13.8 percent
