Striking results in the latest Istanbul poll by a pro-government company! Ekrem İmamoğlu or Murat Kurum?
SONAR Research Company, known for its proximity to the government, has shared the results of its election poll conducted in Istanbul. Speaking on CNN Türk, SONAR Research owner Hakan Bayrakçı shared the vote percentages for AKP candidate Murat Kurum and CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu.

MULTI-CANDIDATE ELECTION RACE IN ISTANBUL
The AKP has fielded Murat Kurum against the incumbent Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in an effort to win back Istanbul, which it lost in 2019.
The İYİ Party, which decided to enter the local elections 'freely and independently', has nominated Buğra Kavuncu. Mehmet Altınöz from the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), Birol Aydın from the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), Azmi Karamahmutoğlu from the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), and the DEM Party with Meral Danış Beştaş and Murat Çepni will also enter the race.
While the race in Istanbul, which will feature a multi-candidate election, is expected to be between Murat Kurum and Ekrem İmamoğlu, public opinion research companies continue their polling efforts.
With only days left until the local elections, SONAR Research Company founder Hakan Bayrakçı, known for his proximity to the government, announced the poll results regarding the vote percentages of People's Alliance IMM Candidate Murat Kurum and CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu on the Ahmet Hakan ile Tarafsız Bölge program.
WHO IS AHEAD IN ISTANBUL? LATEST VOTE PERCENTAGES
According to the latest poll results announced by Hakan Bayrakçı, Murat Kurum has 41.3 percent, Ekrem İmamoğlu 41.9 percent, the DEM Party 4.8 percent, the İYİ Party 4 percent, and the New Welfare Party 2.5 percent.
Bayrakçı made the following statements:
"THE STRATEGY OF DEM AND CHP IN THIS ELECTION IS VERY WELL PLANNED"
"The latest election poll shows that the strategy of DEM and CHP in this election is very well planned. They were making statements in previous elections. I will state the results by averaging the last 2 or 3 polls. I will not write the 0.6s or 0.5s. I should note that there is a margin of error of about 1.8 in these polls. In the latest situation, İmamoğlu is at around 41.9."
"THE DIFFERENCE IS UNDER 1 PERCENT"
"The difference is under 1 percent. I am sure of this. It is a neck-and-neck situation. Murat Kurum is at 41.3. DEM comes in third.
The İYİ Party is also coming out at around 4. So it could be 4.5, it could be 3.9, but it is at these levels. After that comes the New Welfare Party. Other parties will receive roughly around 5.5 percent."
"IF HE LOSES, HE WILL HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE"
"If someone loses this election by 1 point, for example, İmamoğlu will turn around and hold the votes received by DEM and the İYİ Party accountable."
