Successive resignations in the AKP: Provincial chair requests to be relieved of his duties!

In Adıyaman, where the CHP won in the March 31 Local Elections, the AKP provincial chair has resigned.

AKP Adıyaman Provincial Chair Emrah Erkan Bulucu held a press conference and announced that he has resigned from his post.

Stating that he has served in various levels of the AKP for approximately 15 years and has been serving as the Adıyaman Provincial Chair for the last 1.5 years, Chair Bulucu used the following expressions in his statement;

“As of today, I have concluded my duty as the Adıyaman Provincial Chair, which I have carried out with great honor and pride. In our party, duties are not requested, they are assigned. In every position I have held within the organization to date, I have strived to do my best with a sense of cause and a special love and affection for our Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. As is known to everyone, during the period I undertook the Provincial Chairmanship, our Adıyaman had just emerged from the February 6 disaster.

After the duty was assigned, we were aware of how important and sensitive our responsibility was. In order to carry out this process dynamically and to get our organization back on its feet, we provided that mobilization in a very short time with intense effort and became ready for the May 14 elections as an organization. Our only agenda item in our field work was to focus on the problems and troubles of the earthquake and our earthquake victims. As is known, we achieved a great victory on May 14 with the trust and favor of our people towards us. The AK Party emerged as the first party in all our districts, including the Adıyaman center. Likewise, our Sincik, Samsat, Gerger, and Kâhta districts became among the champion districts across Turkey. We experienced the happiness of living this pride together.

Again, in the Presidential elections repeated on May 28, we experienced the honor of emerging with a great victory. As we mentioned above, we experienced a very dynamic process within this short period of time. While we were striving to solve the problems of our citizens and earthquake victims on one hand, we completed our preparations for the local administration elections without any shortcomings on the other. Although there was a great success across our Adıyaman province, especially on a district basis, encountering a result we did not expect at all in the central district deeply affected us.

The decision made by our nation is a crown on our heads as a movement that believes in democracy. In order for the next process to be carried out more healthily, as a soldier of our Party, I have requested from our Headquarters to be relieved of my provincial chairmanship duty, which I have carried out with honor. Of course, this is not an end for us. On the contrary, it is a beginning. With God's permission, just as before, we will continue to look after our cause without regard for working hours for our AK Cause and for our President, and we will continue to stand by our world leader at all times. With these feelings and thoughts, I offer my endless gratitude to our valuable fellow citizens who have never withheld their support with their prayers until today."
