Support for Fazıl Say from Özgür Özel: 'I convey my feelings of solidarity'
World-renowned Turkish pianist Fazıl Say had announced that his four concerts in Switzerland were cancelled. Say had received support from the AKP. Finally, CHP Group Chairman and candidate for Chairman Özgür Özel also published a message of support.

Pianist Fazıl Say had announced that 4 of his concerts in Switzerland were cancelled.
AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik had supported Say's post and reacted to the cancellation.
Subsequently, Migros Türkiye issued a statement saying, "Migros Türkiye has no connection whatsoever with these concerts."
Finally, CHP Chairman candidate Özgür Özel, who conveyed his feelings of solidarity to Say via his social media account, said, "We will fight against those who turn a deaf ear to freedom of expression and those who do not tolerate different views."
Özel used the following expressions in the post he made on his social media account:
"I convey my feelings of solidarity to our world-renowned artist Fazıl Say, whose concerts in Switzerland were cancelled. We will fight against those who turn a deaf ear to freedom of expression and those who do not tolerate different views. We will continue to stand against the state terrorism of both Hamas and Israel in every medium and to defend an independent Palestine and peace."
