Support for the Freedom Flotilla from Kılıçdaroğlu

The Israeli navy attacked the Freedom Flotilla, which was carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, in international waters. Communication was lost with Turkish members of parliament Sema Silkin Ün, Necmettin Çalışkan, and Mehmet Atmaca.

As reactions from the political sphere followed one after another after Israel's intervention, former CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu noted the following in his social media post:

"THREE MILLION MEHMETÇİK WILL COME"

"The courage to say 'Stop!' to the Israeli administration, which is a major partner of global capital but a rogue minority in the Middle East,

is the name of the determination of Palestinians to exist in their homeland, or the hope that living consciences carry to humanity by sea, the Sumud Flotilla.

To our three members of parliament who carry the will of our nation, Sema Silkin Ün, Necmettin Çalışkan, Mehmet Atmaca, and our citizens accompanying the flotilla:

If a stone touches their feet,

If a wave hits their ships,

Not three deputies, but three million Mehmetçik will come;

The world may end, but justice will be served.

A thousand greetings to every one of my brothers and sisters who courageously carry the conscience of humanity to Palestine."
