Surprise surge for YENİ Party in SONAR poll

In the latest election poll published by SONAR Research, the YENİ Party, which was stated to have been founded two weeks ago under the leadership of Özgür Özel, took the top spot. In the poll, the responses to the question "If a general election were held this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?" were announced as 34.3 percent for the YENİ Party after the undecided voters were proportionally distributed.

In the same measurement, the AKP took second place with 30.2 percent. The DEM Party was recorded at 8.5 percent, the İYİ Party at 7 percent, the MHP at 5.1 percent, and the CHP at 5 percent. The vote share of the Anahtar Party was announced as 2.6 percent, and the vote share of the Zafer Party as 2.3 percent.

The topic of an early election was also asked to participants in the research. To the question "Do you think an early general election should be held?", 59.4 percent of participants answered "Yes", while 32.9 percent answered "No".
