Speaking at the 8th Ordinary Grand Congress of the AKP, AKP Deputy Chairman Mustafa Şen made evaluations regarding the latest poll results.
Speaking to CNN TÜRK Ankara Representative Dicle Canova, Şen stated that the AKP has been the leading party for the last three months.
WE ARE AWARE OF ECONOMIC PROBLEMS
Expressing that they are aware of the economic problems, Şen said, "There is a price stability problem in the economy, we acknowledge this. However, when we ask 'Who will solve this problem?', the citizen's first choice is our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the AK Party."
Drawing attention to the trend in the polls, Şen stated, "If the CHP had been able to maintain the extra 2 points it received in the local elections, the situation would be different. However, as the AK Party, we have been the first party for 3-4 months and we have a vote share close to the total of the CHP and the third party."
MESSAGE FOR 2028
Emphasizing that his party will continue its election preparations without slowing down, Şen said, "With our President being re-elected today, we are starting to prepare for the 2028 elections from tomorrow. For us, the election process has already begun."
