Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candan Yüceer resigns from CHP

Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Candan Yüceer has announced that she has resigned from the Republican People's Party (CHP). Yüceer made her decision public through a post on her social media account.

Stating that she is leaving the party of which she has been a member for years and where she has served at various levels, Yüceer emphasized that this decision was not an easy one for her to make.

In her statement, Yüceer noted that she was leaving her party "unwillingly and out of necessity," and added that the process should not be evaluated solely based on individuals.
