In a statement made via social media, Sayhan denied the allegations against him and emphasized his loyalty to the MHP. Stating, "This is a clear act of sedition," Sayhan suggested that certain circles within the AKP were uncomfortable with him.
ALLEGATIONS OF DETENTION
Journalist Nevşin Mengü shared the information that Sayhan was not in custody following a conversation she had with him. Sayhan stated that he was not a lawyer for ASSAN, but only contributed to the restructuring process. Furthermore, he expressed that the photograph of him with Selahattin Yılmaz was taken during a humanitarian visit.
