Thanks to Mansur Yavaş from Ümit Özdağ! 'My mother was very moved'

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ visited Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş to express his gratitude for the support shown during his detention. Özdağ, who was held in a solitary confinement cell for 148 days at Silivri Prison, met with Yavaş to thank him following his release.

Özdağ stated, "I was deprived of my liberty for 149 days in a solitary cell in Silivri within the framework of hostile practices. Now, the case has reached a certain stage again. We will continue our legal struggle by going to the appellate court. During this process, Mayor Mansur stood by me. He also stood by my family. He visited my mother, who is his colleague, and my mother was very moved. I came to thank him today as well," he said.
