CHP Adana Deputy Burhanettin Bulut responded on his social media account to the allegations made by Gürsel Tekin against him and certain media organizations during a press conference.

In his post, Bulut targeted Tekin, stating, "The Palace's hirelings are on stage again... You are very funny." Tagging Tekin's account, Bulut argued that the allegations were "baseless."

“Trying to stay on the agenda with evidence-free accusations is not a sign of politics, but of exhaustion. But the baseless slanders you throw at us cannot cover up this great disgrace you have fallen into.”

In his statement, Bulut also brought up Tekin's claim that he "transported people from an agency to create the appearance of a crowd for 950 liras," emphasizing that the organization turned into a "fiasco."

Continuing his statement, Bulut noted that Tekin is well-known by CHP organizations, saying, "Neither you nor what you say has any relevance in politics or the public eye anymore."

The full text of Bulut's statement is as follows:

“The Palace's hirelings are on stage again... You are very funny.

Gürsel Tekin, the first trustee who transported people from an agency to create the appearance of a crowd for 950 liras, had slogans chanted on order, and turned the organization into a complete fiasco, found the solution in resorting to Y. Özdil-style slanders when he was disgraced.

Gürsel Tekin, the CHP organizations already knew you very well. Now all of Turkey has realized this desperation of yours and the situation you have fallen into. Trying to stay on the agenda with evidence-free accusations is not a sign of politics, but of exhaustion.

But the baseless slanders you throw at us cannot cover up this great disgrace you have fallen into. Neither you nor what you say has any relevance in politics or the public eye anymore.

On this occasion, I also congratulate the BirGün newspaper for their journalistic success. Casting suspicion on independent media organizations, especially BirGün, without presenting any evidence is nothing but helplessness.”
