Adnan Beker, who resigned from the IYI Party, has responded to allegations regarding his resignation. Beker also addressed Akşener's claims about a "police chief who owns a prostitution hotel."

Beker also signaled that he would join the AKP or the MHP.

He stated he does not know the police chief

Speaking to Gazete Pencere, Adnan Beker addressed claims that "there is a connection between the timing of Akşener's claim about the police chief who owns a prostitution hotel and Beker's resignation," stating that he does not know the police chief in question, K.Ö., and that there has been no business dealings between them.

Beker attributed his resignation from the IYI Party to his discomfort with similar allegations.

It had been alleged that Adnan Beker, who resigned from the IYI Party, had a relationship with the police chief who owns the hotel at the center of Akşener's prostitution allegations. In political circles, IYI Party Chair Meral Akşener bringing up these prostitution hotel allegations following Beker's resignation was interpreted as a response directed at Beker. Beker had also recently made headlines not only due to Akşener's statements but also over allegations that his son and nephew had assaulted two women.

He responded to allegations regarding his son and nephew

Stating that the incident occurred a year and a half ago, Beker said his son had no involvement in the event. He explained that the women whose photos were published with his nephew had been in a fight, but that the fight was not reported to the police station, and that he was not a member of parliament when the incident took place.

In the report containing the allegations, it was claimed that the two women who went to the police station after being assaulted had filed a complaint against the attackers, but that the complaint was not processed and the police officer who took the statement was subsequently transferred.

When asked, "It does not look like a simple fight," Beker responded by saying there was no allegation of rape in the incident. Beker claimed that the photos were not in an official file and were taken from messages the young people sent to each other.

He will join the AKP or MHP

Attributing the recent increase in allegations against him to his resignation from the IYI Party and his impending move to the AK Party or the MHP, Beker stated that the young women mentioned in the report also denied the rape allegations and have filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office.
