The rope thrown by Müsavat Dervişoğlu has been delivered to Bahçeli

The main agenda of politics has been the statements made by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli regarding PKK leader Öcalan.

Making statements at the MHP group meeting, Devlet Bahçeli said the following regarding Abdullah Öcalan: "If the isolation of the terrorist leader is lifted, let him come and speak at the DEM Party group meeting in the TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey). Let him declare that terrorism has completely ended and the organization has been disbanded. If he shows this resolve and determination, let the legal regulation regarding the use of the right to hope be made and the path for him to benefit from it be opened wide. Let the address extend from Imralı to DEM, not Kandil or Edirne, and let this heavy and historical terror problem be completely removed from the country's agenda. I challenge you, we are ready for this."

Support for these statements by Bahçeli also came from the DEM Party. DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları supported the call that the isolation imposed on Öcalan should be lifted and that Öcalan should make a statement in Parliament.

Following these developments, reactions against Bahçeli emerged.

DERVİŞOĞLU TOSSED A ROPE

Speaking at his party's group meeting regarding Bahçeli's words about Öcalan, Dervişoğlu showed a harsh reaction to Bahçeli.

In the same group meeting, Dervişoğlu threw a rope at him from the podium, referencing a statement Bahçeli made in 2007.

Following the development, it was learned that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli requested the rope that Müsavat Dervişoğlu threw from the podium.
