TÜSİAD management has decided to hold an emergency meeting after an investigation was launched into TÜSİAD High Advisory Council (YİK) President Ömer Aras due to statements he made at an association meeting in recent days.

According to the report by Sözcü, TÜSİAD's honorary presidents, YİK presidents, and former board chairmen will also attend the meeting. It is expected that the roadmap to be followed regarding the investigation process will be determined during the discussion.

Speaking to Saygı Öztürk from Sözcü, TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan stated that they have received numerous messages from members regarding the statements made about the association. Turan had said, “Issues that everyone knows were also brought to the agenda by TÜSİAD. We will make another statement to clear up any misunderstandings.”

Ömer Aras had expressed his criticisms regarding the fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, the appointment of trustees, recent arrest and investigation decisions, and the fight against inflation at the TÜSİAD General Assembly held on February 13, 2025. An investigation was launched against him following these statements.
