The General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) will discuss the motion regarding the extension of the Turkish military's mandate in Iraq and Syria.
In the General Assembly, which will begin its weekly work today (October 16), the Presidential motion regarding the extension of the mandate for sending troops to Iraq and Syria for another 2 years will be addressed.
The legislative proposal regarding the rental of residences for tourism purposes and the payment of 5,000 lira to retirees is also expected to be discussed in the General Assembly.
The proposal includes requirements for obtaining a permit to rent residences for tourism purposes, and imposes an administrative fine of 1 million lira on those who continue tourism rental activities without a permit, as well as those who rent out the same residence more than 4 times within one year from the date of the first contract. Additionally, the proposal includes a provision added in the Plan and Budget Committee that stipulates a one-time payment of 5,000 lira to retirees.
CEVDET YILMAZ TO MAKE A PRESENTATION
The 12th Development Plan, which has been determined as a holistic roadmap to mobilize Turkey's potential in the 100th year of the Republic and thereby ensure the realization of the goal of sustainable and inclusive growth, will be submitted to Parliament. Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is scheduled to make a presentation on the 12th Development Plan in the Plan and Budget Committee today.
In addition, the 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal will also be submitted to the TBMM in the same week. Vice President Yılmaz is expected to make a presentation regarding the budget in the Plan and Budget Committee on October 20.
The Sub-Commission on the Rights of Convicts and Detainees of the Human Rights Investigation Commission will meet.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the group meetings of the political parties with groups in Parliament will be held.
