According to reports from within the People's Alliance, the AKP will field candidates in 27 metropolitan municipalities and the MHP in 3 for the local elections. It is claimed that the locations requested by the MHP are Adana, Mersin, and Manisa.
BAHÇELİ TO VISIT THE PALACE
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli will meet at the Palace today.
The AKP and MHP will enter the elections with joint candidates in 30 metropolitan municipalities. As in 2019, the MHP's metropolitan mayoral candidates will be supported in Adana, Mersin, and Manisa, while in the other 27 metropolitan municipalities, MHP voters will be directed to vote for the AKP candidate.
