Imprisoned TIP Hatay MP Can Atalay and the lawyers for TIP Chairman Erkan Baş filed an application with the Constitutional Court today, requesting the determination of the absence and the cancellation of the parliamentary revocation process, arguing that stripping Atalay of his membership during the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly session violated Article 84 of the Constitution.
