TKH reaction to the government on 'Israel': The clearest example of hypocrisy is the AKP government
The Communist Movement of Turkey shared a video regarding the conflicts between Israel and Palestine. TKH Chairperson Aysel Tekerek stated, "All political governments, primarily the AKP, which condemn Israel while continuing their cooperation with the US, share responsibility for this comfort of Israel."

As the war between Hamas and Israel enters its 14th day, the conflict in the region is intensifying with each passing day. While the number of Palestinians who have lost their lives in the conflicts has exceeded 3 thousand, the number of Israelis has surpassed 1 thousand 400.
The Communist Movement of Turkey addressed the conflicts between Israel and Palestine at its weekly press conference.
TKH Chairperson Aysel Tekerek began her speech by reacting to Israel's hospital massacre. Emphasizing that Israel is committing war crimes, Tekerek stated, "There is only one reason for this comfort and this disregard for rules by Israel. That is that the State of Israel is not alone in these crimes and this occupation policy. Imperialists, led by the US and EU states, large monopolies, and many other international organizations have stood by Israel's occupation policy and directly against the rightful struggle of the Palestinian people."
"THE CLEAREST EXAMPLE OF HYPOCRISY IS THE AKP GOVERNMENT"
Emphasizing that the AKP condemns Israel while continuing its cooperation with the US, Tekerek assessed, "It would be appropriate to say that perhaps the clearest example of this situation, this hypocrisy, and this collaborationism in the world is the AKP government."
Tekerek said the following at the press conference;
"Imperialist aggression in the world is dragging humanity into great destruction, war, and massacres.
We saw once again with the hospital attack they carried out last night that there is no limit to the terror Israel has been inflicting on the Palestinian people for 12 days.
Israel massacred at least 500 Palestinians in just one minute without blinking an eye.
Looking the whole world in the eye, the political representatives of Israel first declared that they were in a state of war, and then announced that they had left their soldiers' hands free. By blockading Gaza, they began to commit crimes against humanity in the region.
There is only one reason for this comfort and this disregard for rules by Israel. That is that the State of Israel is not alone in these crimes and this occupation policy. Imperialists, led by the US and EU states, large monopolies, and many other international organizations have stood by Israel's occupation policy and directly against the rightful struggle of the Palestinian people.
Those who paved the way for the long-standing Israeli occupation returned to their seats at the tables where that occupation was planned after making hypocritical calls for moderation when Israel's massacres in Palestine became blatant.
Israel has been the biggest ally in the US's Greater Middle East project, and the US has been the biggest ally in every step Israel has taken.
For this reason, all political governments, primarily the AKP, which condemn Israel while continuing their cooperation with the US, share responsibility for this comfort of Israel.
It would be appropriate to say that perhaps the clearest example of this situation, this hypocrisy, and this collaborationism in the world is the AKP government.
A DIPLOMACY GAME IS BEING PLAYED NOT TO STOP THE WAR BUT TO MANAGE IT
The AKP government, which has aspired to be the co-chair of the Greater Middle East project, has entered into an effort to seize new small co-chairmanships under the name of being a guarantor, stating that it is conducting diplomacy in the face of this terror and occupation policy of Israel. The destination of this understanding, which equates the State of Israel with the Palestinian people, is only and only to legitimize Israel's occupation.
To the AKP, which makes outbursts to the US like "what business do you have there," wouldn't they ask, "what business do you have on a US ship" regarding the exercises it conducts via NATO in the Mediterranean and Selçuk Bayraktar posing on a US ship participating in this exercise? Wouldn't they ask about the photos and cooperation statements where Netanyahu and Tayyip Erdoğan posed together just a month or two ago?
Those who pave the way for Israel's war against Gaza today are playing a diplomacy game right now not to stop this unjust war, but to manage it.
As we always say, we say it today as well; solutions do not and cannot come from those who are part of the problem, from those who are the source of the problem.
We want to declare here once again the solution that communists have been stating not just today, but as soon as Israel's occupation began.
The only solution and the path to peace in the Palestinian issue is clear: the end of the Israeli occupation and the recognition of the legitimate rights and demands of the Palestinian people!
The main path to liberation for the Palestinian people lies through independence, secularism, and anti-imperialist struggle. Because the war being experienced is not a religious war, but a war of the oppressed against the oppressors, of those who want independence against imperialists and occupiers.
THIS STRUGGLE IS ALSO THE STRUGGLE OF THE COMMUNISTS OF TURKEY TODAY.
Breaking the imperialist hegemony in our country, defeating all collaborationist governments, closing all NATO and US bases in our country, canceling international military and political agreements, and making our country independent and sovereign again—that is, continuing the anti-imperialist struggle strongly—must be the most important duty and goal of communists.
PEACE WILL NOT COME TO THE PEOPLES WITHOUT DEFEATING ZIONISM AND IMPERIALISM.
And Zionism and imperialism will definitely, absolutely be defeated.
We know that the AKP government, which speaks half-heartedly to the US in the face of Israel's occupation, fulfills all of the US's orders when it comes to our own country.
Yesterday in parliament, the decision to extend the TSK's (Turkish Armed Forces) term of duty in Iraq and Syria for another 2 years was accepted in the general assembly. We have been saying that we are against Turkey taking part with its military in the US's plans in the region since the March 1st memorandum agenda. As we just stated, the AKP is not a party that has the will to say to the US, "I will not sacrifice my soldier for your interests." The AKP is a fully-fledged US collaborationist party. They try to hide this collaborationist character, especially during memorandum agendas, under the name of "the country's national security." On top of that, they say they are in favor of the territorial integrity of Syria and Iraq. But come and see that the AKP government was and continues to be the first to stand by the US, which not only stains both Iraq and Syria with blood but also does not hide its policies of openly occupying these countries. The presence of the TSK in another country's territory also threatens the country's national security. The US, through the AKP, has long since turned Turkey into a country that fights with its neighbors and plays a role in the occupation of its neighbors. This role taken in Syria has also turned our country into a refugee ghetto. The AKP is making the people pay the bill for its imperialist collaborationism in every field.
The bill that the AKP makes the people pay is not limited to the destruction resulting from war and imperialist collaborationist policies.
The AKP submitted its 12th 5-year development plan to parliament. It deserves the name development for the capitalist class and for reactionary bigots, but we can say it is a complete destruction plan for the laborers.
It is clearly understood in this plan that there are plans to abolish severance pay for our valued citizens. It is understood that by trying to implement a detailed plan through the Private Pension System, the turn for severance pay will come in the next step.
THEY CONTINUE TO SET THEIR EYES ON THE PEOPLE'S ASSETS
It is stated that privatization policies will continue. In addition to these privatizations that will continue under the name of public offering, it is stated that new areas with privatization potential will be identified.
Those who said, "I will sell it like a father," continue to set their eyes on the people's assets by asking, "what is left that we haven't sold?"
Widespread religious education will be delivered to every segment of society, and the effects of harmful trends that negatively affect the family structure will be reduced.
We want to express here once again that the most harmful trend today is the AKP. The AKP is harmful to health, the family, the youth, women, and the laborer.
Thus, we are welcoming the 100th anniversary of the Republic with the tyranny regime of a government that has destroyed the republic, condemned the people to hunger and poverty, crowned sects and communities, and made enemies of its neighbors.
Yes, there is no longer a Republic to be celebrated today. The representation and stance shaped in the First Parliament, which emerged as an alternative to imperialism, occupation, and the sultanate, are nowhere to be found today. The parliamentary regime in Turkey has been liquidated and replaced by a neo-sultanist, Presidential regime. The Republic is the sovereignty of the people against the sultanate and the caliphate. It is not correct to treat this situation only formally. Essentially, the Republic in Turkey has been liquidated step by step under the feet of imperialists, sultanists, bigots, and bosses!
ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC…
This is the stark reality facing the laborers, intellectuals, youth, and women of our country. Without seeing this reality today, neither the past can be understood nor can the struggle to win the future be waged. It is clear that there is a great contradiction between the establishment of the Republic and the gains of the poor laboring people in Anatolia, and the capitalist path where the capitalist class has perched on top of the country and is leading Turkey in a way dependent on imperialism. This situation clearly shows us the point the Republic has reached on its 100th anniversary.
The 100th anniversary of the Republic must also be the milestone of a new Republic struggle. This struggle is a struggle for an egalitarian country, a secular republic where laborers are in power, a Socialist Turkey. A new Republic will rise on the shoulders of the workers.
Our party will hold a public march for a new republic, a Socialist Turkey, starting from Kadıköy Mehmet Ayvalıtaş Park at 14:00 on October 29th.
We call you to this march against tyranny, reactionism, imperialism, and capitalism.
Instead of our anger and hopes that are being tried to be imprisoned in ballot boxes, let us be in the squares on the 100th anniversary of the republic.
Let us save our country from these collaborationist, reactionary, and pro-capitalist policies."
