Turhan Çömez asked that question everyone is asking again: 'Will the PKK's Syrian branch lay down its arms?'

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez reacted to the reading of a summary of the minutes kept regarding the visit of AK Party, DEM Party, and MHP members to Imralı at the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission in a video he shared on his social media account. Stating that there were three purposes for keeping the minutes secret, Çömez noted the following:

"They sent the representatives of the Grand National Assembly, which founded the great Republic of Turkey on battlefields, managed the war, and was presided over by Atatürk, to the feet of the leader of a vile terrorist organization that has pointed weapons at this country, is the murderer of exactly 50 thousand people, and is responsible for our martyrs. And while sending them, they said, 'You don't need to know everything.' So what was the purpose? First, to declare him the chief negotiator. Second, to make the state an interlocutor with the PKK and equate them. Third, to appoint the terrorist organization's leader, Abdullah Öcalan, as the leader, guide, or founding leader of all Kurds living in the region. Because the will behind the project, the global power centers, desired such a mission to be undertaken. And ultimately, three deputies went to Imralı.

"YOU ARE DOING THINGS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS"

Now let's look at this process; a vote was held in the commission established in the Parliament. The voting was secret. Why are you hiding it? Why are you afraid? Are you ashamed of what you are doing? If you are so sure of what you are doing, why don't you reveal the names of the deputies who raised their hands and said 'let's go' before history? The voting was secret. Then, on November 24, Teachers' Day, we suddenly saw that three deputies had gone to Imralı. The departure was also secret. They went by helicopter. Well, if you are doing such a right thing, if you are sure of yourselves, why didn't you proudly say 'we are going'? Why didn't you go by ferry, embrace the citizens along the way, and ask them, 'We are doing a very good job. We are going to embrace the terrorist leader. Do you have a message? Do you have any greetings?' I wish you could have walked the streets of Mudanya. You didn't do that either; you hid it. Then one of the deputies from the delegation that went was asked, 'Did you go? Didn't you go?' 'No, I didn't go. I went to the dentist,' they said. You hid yourselves.

Minutes were kept. It was 16 pages long. It is not clear who kept them. You also hid the person who kept the minutes. Then you brought these 16 pages of minutes and delivered them to the parliament, or we assume they were delivered. But we saw that 12 pages of the 16-page minutes were missing and it was prepared as 4 pages. In other words, you hid the rest of it as well. You are doing things behind closed doors. Then a representative of one of the parties that went said that they had no involvement in this. Another representative said, 'This is equivalent to trash. Therefore, it has no validity.' You hid it, and those who went there also said that it was trash and that they had no involvement in the preparation of those minutes. And in that commission, let alone other deputies in the Parliament, even the deputies who took part in that commission and even raised their hands to say 'let's go' are unaware of the minutes. They say, 'We need to know.' The ruling party deputy says, 'If you had come, you would have known. You didn't come, so we are not telling, we are hiding it.' In other words, the behind-closed-doors business has continued from start to finish. Then they say, 'Follow us, whatever we say goes, trust us.'

"THEY ARE QUESTIONING, THEY ARE WORRIED, THEY ARE ANXIOUS, THEY ARE CURIOUS, AND THEY WANT TO LEARN"

They are questioning, they are worried, they are anxious, they are curious, and they want to learn. 'No, you absolutely do not need to learn, there is no need. Whatever we say goes.' And they try to present this as if it were democracy, as if it were human rights, as if it were freedom, as if it were 'peace.' The representatives or managers of the terrorist organization in the mountains say, 'We have done our part.' What have they done? They burned 30 Kalashnikovs, which are sold for 10 dollars in the Iraq market, in a basin. Then they say, 'We have done our part. Now it is the turn of the Republic of Turkey and the parliament.' So what do you want? We were already founded against Lausanne. Let steps be taken regarding Sèvres. Let the Constitution 1, 2, 3, and 4 be changed, let 42 be changed, let 66 be changed. Let the TCK (Turkish Penal Code) be changed, let the Anti-Terror Law be changed, let the execution law be changed. Let all of these be changed, let the terrorist leader get out of prison, let him be settled in a little palace in Imralı. What else... Let him direct the terrorist organization, let him direct its political extensions. Let 9 thousand terrorists walk out of prison freely and 'integrate' into society. Let them be given jobs, let them be given bread, let their relatives be given protection, let them be given guarantees. And then, after all this, let them engage in politics. This is what is desired.

"NO ONE IS SAYING ANYTHING TO THE RELATIVES AND FAMILIES OF THE MARTYRS"

What about the 50 thousand people? What about the 50 thousand people who were massacred, the lion-hearted ones who became martyrs, their relatives, their families... No one is saying anything to them. You burned 30 Kalashnikovs in a basin. Just the other day, its extensions in Qandil made a statement again. They said, 'We are withdrawing our elements in Turkey.' How many were they? We don't know the number. If you ask the former Minister of Interior, there were 86 of them and their shoe sizes were known. But those 86 terrorists, whose shoe sizes they said they knew, have supposedly withdrawn from our border. How many were they? We don't know. Where did they pass through? We don't know. Which route did they use? We don't know. Which part of our border did they cross? We don't know. Did they cross with passports? We don't know. Did the Turkish Armed Forces, our security units, our intelligence units escort them, did they observe them? We don't know. Did they cross with weapons in their hands? We don't know. But if they had laid down their arms, the government officials would have said, 'We received this many hundreds, this many thousands of weapons, we examined them. We investigated whether they were used in any terrorist attack.' That is not there either. It is clear that they crossed our border with their weapons in their hands, walking freely. So much for them laying down their arms. That was theater. "We burned them in that basin, that business is over.'

They also say that they withdrew from the camps in Zap and Metina. Oh my God, what a great job. Every winter, the terrorist organization withdraws from the camps in Zap and Metina. They take their winter precautions. They take their weapons with them when they go and prepare for the next period in the secure areas granted to them. The same thing was done again. They emptied the caves. Where are the weapons then? Where is the ammunition? How many were they? Under what conditions did they leave? Who observed? Who followed? Are there ballistic examinations of the weapons they left behind? No. Just the other day, an extension of the terrorist organization and one of its so-called leaders held a press conference. There are exactly 30 terrorists around him. You know, those 30 Kalashnikovs they burned. As if to mock, he holds a press conference with thirty people. These are the terrorists who took part in that press conference. All of them have M16 automatic weapons used by the American army in their hands. Besides that, there are Kanas sniper rifles. All these vile people showed off, and then with these photos, with these video images, in a sense with threat messages, they said, 'We have done our part.'

Now let's return to the Imralı minutes again. It started secretly and ended secretly. It is not clear what is in the 12 pages. They made the great state, the Republic of Turkey, and the representatives of the Grand National Assembly interlocutors with the leader of the terrorist organization, went secretly, came back secretly, and even hid the minutes there. Now our question is this? The PKK is a structure nested under the umbrella organization KCK. Under the KCK, there is the PJAK branch in Iran, the PKK is a matter related to Turkey. Besides that, there is the PÇDK in Iraq. In Syria, in the biggest operation area of global powers, east of the Euphrates, there is a 100-thousand-person terrorist army. Their weapons are exactly the weapons used by the American army, as I just showed. They have air defense systems. They have tanks, anti-tanks, anti-aircraft guns. They have gone through all kinds of training. This 100-thousand-person terrorist army, with America and Israel behind it, the PYD, YPG, whose extensions, whose members, came all the way to Ankara just a year ago and massacred our brilliant Anatolian children, our sons, our engineers, our brilliant citizens at TUSAŞ. They martyred exactly 230 of our soldiers who were conducting cross-border operations. I am asking now; will the PKK's branch in Syria, the KCK's branch in Syria, lay down these weapons or not? And my main question is this. Was there any statement regarding these in those 12 pages of minutes of the terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan that were blacked out or hidden? I am addressing the noble Turkish nation from here. With your discernment, your foresight, your heart, your courage, please do not believe in this betrayal process, this theater, this imposition which is a continuation of the Greater Middle East Project imposed on Turkey by imperialists, and this deception."
