Tuzla Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl receives his certificate of election

Eren Ali Bingöl, the CHP candidate for Mayor of Tuzla, was elected Mayor of Tuzla in the March 31 Local Administration General Elections.

Mayor Bingöl received his certificate of election today. Following this, he officially took office after a handover ceremony held at the municipal building, where he took over the position from former Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı.

The handover ceremony held at the Tuzla Municipality building was attended by Tuzla Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl, former Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı, Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel, and Ataşehir Mayor Onursal Adıgüzel.

"WE WILL WORK VERY HARD"

Şadi Yazıcı said, "Our people, who placed us in the mayor's office as of 2009, gave us their support in 2014, 2019, and up until 2024. We tried to serve our people, we made an effort, we strove.

Our citizens have always had a place in our hearts. We spent 15 years in Tuzla, we went to the polls in 2024, and our people elected Mayor Eren Ali as mayor. I congratulate him; the will of our people is always above everything else,” he said.

Mayor Eren Ali Bingöl stated, "We also thank our mayor very much for the services he has provided to Tuzla for 15 years. Now, under the leadership of our Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, we will, with God's permission, bring very beautiful services to Tuzla as well. We will work very hard; with the energy of our youth, we will work even more and provide great services, thank you very much,” he said.
