Ümit Özdağ's 'Palestine' response to Cübbeli Ahmet: 'Take your cane and get into your bed...'

Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known asCübbeli Ahmet, had said on his social media account regarding Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ,who stated, "There is no more blood for the Turkish soldier to shed in the Arab deserts," "I say shame on the mentality of Ümit Özdağ, who belittles our Gaza, our Palestine, our Jerusalem, and our Al-Aqsa Mosque by calling them 'Arab deserts'."

"TAKE YOUR CANE AND GET INTO YOUR BED..."

The response to Ünlü's statement was not delayed. Özdağ said the following in a post on his social media account:

"Cübbeli Ahmet, the person who said that the blood of the Turkish soldier will never again be shed for the Arab deserts is Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who fought in Tripoli, Palestine, and Syria. While Atatürk and the Turkish soldier were fighting on the front lines, you madrasa members were effectively draft dodgers with the fairy tale that 'men of religion do not go to the military.' You didn't even participate in the War of Independence. Atatürk scolded you in Konya for this reason. You cannot send the nation's children to the Middle East to fight for the Arabs while you are riding a jet ski. Are the Arabs not men? Can they not defend their own homelands? The Turkish nation defended the Middle East for 860 years. Is that not enough? Do you know anyone who came from Palestine to fight alongside us in Cyprus or in the struggle against the PKK? Look Ahmet, in one of your speeches, you said, 'I entered Mahmut Hoca's room. I saw him lying in bed with his cane in his hand as if he were shooting.' You were saying he was fighting in Chechnya. Look, you person of SHIRK (polytheism), take your cane and get into your bed and join the war in the Middle East yourself. Do not play this cheap politics over the blood of the Turkish soldier. And Ahmet, don't you dare try to teach Islam to the Zafer Party. The Zafer Party was founded by visiting Anıtkabir first, then the lodge of Hoca Ahmet Yesevi, and finally the tomb of Hacı Bektaş Veli. We are not the Muslims of post-2002. We have been Muslims for 1000 years, thank God."
