Vahit Kirişci's son-in-law passes away

Mehmet Özcan (29), the son-in-law of Vahit Kirişci, Chairman of the TBMM Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Commission and AKP Kahramanmaraş Deputy, has passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Mehmet Özcan, the son-in-law of Vahit Kirişci, Chairman of the TBMM Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Commission and AKP Kahramanmaraş Deputy, who lived in the Çiğdem neighborhood of Ankara's Çankaya district, fell to the floor in the bathroom during the night.

Özcan, who was found unresponsive by his wife, was taken to the hospital by ambulance but could not be saved despite all interventions.

Vahit Kirişci shared a statement on his social media account, saying, "My dear child, my son-in-law Mehmet Özcan has passed away. His funeral prayer will be held today following the afternoon prayer at Balgat Central Mosque, and he will be laid to rest at Karşıyaka Cemetery. I pray for God's mercy upon my Mehmet. May his grave be filled with light and his place be in heaven."
