Vice President Yılmaz condemns the attack on Slovak Prime Minister Fico

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated that he was deeply saddened by the heinous attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery.

In a post on his social media account X, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated, "I was deeply saddened by the heinous attack on Slovak Prime Minister Mr. Robert Fico. This assassination attempt is a direct threat to democracy. Such acts should have no place in any society.

I wish the Prime Minister a speedy recovery and hope he regains his health as soon as possible. Conveying my best wishes to the people of Slovakia, I hope that such brutal attacks are condemned worldwide and that the perpetrators are held accountable,” he said.
