Felicity Party Konya MP Hasan Ekici, during ongoing discussions at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), emphasized that minimum wage earners and retirees are the most affected by the economic crisis, stating, "The minimum wage should not be less than the lowest civil servant salary, and the employer's burden should be shared by the state through incentives."
In the subsequent vote, the proposal by the Felicity Party, along with those of other parties, was rejected.

During the debate on the proposal, AKP's Hüseyin Özhan took the podium to express his views and suggested, "let's change the agenda," a remark that was sharply criticized by CHP Group Deputy Chairman Başarır.
Stating that the AKP has recently been acting entirely to change the agenda, Ali Mahir Başarır shared a video of his criticisms with the following note:
"While the problems of minimum wage earners and retirees are being discussed in Parliament, AKP's Hüseyin Özhan says, 'let's change the agenda'!
You keep trying to change the agenda, but this public will change you!"
