During the Justice Academy program held at the Court of Cassation building, Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can's text messages regarding nepotism were caught on camera.
In an exclusive report by Fırat Irmak broadcast on FOX TV, it was stated that Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can directed requests for nepotism from certain personnel who were set to take the promotion interview to his private secretary, saying "we are following up."
REFERRED TO THE PRIVATE SECRETARY
He responded one by one to the nepotism requests that came in for certain personnel who were to take the ministry's promotion interview, and referred the necessary actions to his private secretary. It was seen that Can replied to one message saying, "Brother, we have taken note, we will follow up, God willing."
One of those who conveyed a nepotism request to Can, who was unaware that his mobile phone messages were being filmed, was İzmir Deputy Mehmet Ali Çelebi, who switched from the CHP to the AKP.
ÇELEBİ ISSUES STATEMENT ON NEPOTISM REQUEST
İzmir Deputy Mehmet Ali Çelebi, who switched from the CHP to the AKP and had made a nepotism request to Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can, made a post on his social media account after the request in question was revealed.
Çelebi explained that he made the nepotism request for a relative of a martyr with the following post:
"Upon the request of a MARTYR'S FATHER, R.O., from İzmir, I asked Deputy Minister of Justice Ramazan Can to show sensitivity regarding the interview by saying, 'Our brother who is taking the interview is a relative of a martyr, for your information, I leave it to your discretion!' and this was labeled as nepotism.
FOX TV, which cannot report on those who go from a martyr's funeral to 'DEM-ing' (referring to the DEM Party) or Demirtaş, who calls our state an occupier, has decreed it so.
Our brother, who scored 89 on the written exam, does not even need us. It is our duty to convey the request of a martyr's father just so that sensitivity is shown!
It also says 'RELATIVE OF A MARTYR' under the line, but FOX is playing foxy and not broadcasting it, or even covering it up!
We can show it to any journalists who want to see it"
