Prof. Dr. Ersan Şen
stated on a live broadcast that he is close to the new party that Yavuz Ağıralioğlu will establish.

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, a figure of nationalist background who resigned from the İYİ Party some time ago, recently announced that he would form a new party after the 2024 local elections.

“YAVUZ AĞIRALİOĞLU IS A PERSON I LIKE”

Upon journalist İsmail Saymaz's question to him, “As far as I have heard, a party to be established after the local elections has held talks with Ersan Şen. I am asking you if this is true,” Şen noted the following regarding the matter:

“Mr. Yavuz Ağıralioğlu is a person I like. He is a good Turkish nationalist. It is true that we have met. He is currently conducting a trend survey; I have not heard that he has established a party yet or taken steps toward it. If there is a working environment and a chance to act together, we will evaluate it. I am one of those who wish for Turkish nationalists and Atatürk nationalists to gather under one front as much as possible. I think this can happen in this country. It is possible; these are people who love this country. I have had meetings with Mr. Yavuz as well. We talked and evaluated some issues.”

HE HAD SAID “THE CADRE WILL CONSIST OF MERITOCRATIC UNKNOWNS”

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who will form a new party, had stated in his explanation regarding this topic that there would be “meritocratic unknowns” in his party.

Speaking to İsmail Saymaz, Ağıralioğlu had used the following expressions:

“The country has many well-trained children. We must build a new political center that will not allow any prejudice or political parenthesis to block this field of merit. First a political center, then it turns into a new political party. After the local elections, the establishment of the party will become a necessity.

All the valuable and famous people that politics has raised so far have brought the country to where it is today. From now on, I will propose meritocratic unknowns, where the best of those who are well-trained and qualified in whatever job they do will be offered to the service of the country.”
