At the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Council, CHP Council Deputy Speaker Ertan Işık became the center of attention. Not realizing his microphone was on during the council meeting, Işık used harsh language directed at his own party members.

HE FORGOT THE MICROPHONE WAS ON AND USED HARSH WORDS TOWARD HIS PARTY MEMBERS

Stating that he was subjected to reactions from some CHP members for wishing mercy upon MHP founding Chairman Alparslan Türkeş, Işık used insulting language, saying, "F**k it, do I care? I don't even take them seriously." Continuing his speech while thinking the microphone was off, Işık said, "They thought they (the People's Alliance) could corner us on the Alparslan Türkeş issue. I went one step further than them. There must have been some of our own who were upset. F**k it, do I care? I don't even take them seriously."

HIS WORDS ECHOED IN THE COUNCIL

Thanks to the microphone that remained open, these words by Ertan Işık were clearly heard in the council chamber. The incident quickly found wide repercussions on social media.
