They pressured Kılıçdaroğlu! Footage of that claim from the eventful party congress has emerged

With the election going to a second round, claims that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu might withdraw were brought to the agenda, but Kılıçdaroğlu entered the election.

Journalist Şaban Sevinç shared a video, alleging that pressure was put on Kılıçdaroğlu to 'withdraw'. 

Sevinç added the following note to the video he shared on his X account: “Here is that incident… The discussions about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu withdrawing from candidacy after the first round of voting at the CHP Congress and the pressure put on Mr. Kemal saying ‘you cannot withdraw’… #ChpCongress ‘No, no, no, I do not allow you to withdraw..." 


DENIAL FROM ÜKÜŞ

While it was claimed in the video shared by Sevinç that İmambakır Üküş, known as Kılıçdaroğlu's advisor, said to Kılıçdaroğlu “No, no, no, I do not allow you to withdraw…” Üküş denied the claim on his X account. 

Üküş said the following in his statement:

“Şaban Sevinç, you are lying, you are slandering… You were not there… I would never be so insolent as to say ‘I do not allow you’ as you claim… I would never show disrespect to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who is an exemplary person not only in politics but also with his personal attitude and courtesy… It is an honor for me to be by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's side at all times and under all conditions… You cannot understand this…”
